Default Im pregnant and need help!!!!

I just recently found out that Im pregnant and i am addicted to opiats.... I was clean for about a week but had a small relapse... I already have a 1 year old boy and I would like to get some sort of mental help but am afraid of going to a therapist or treatment facility in fear they will have to turn me into DHS. I also have some vitamins and minerals (L-tyrosine, b-6,...) from previously drying to kick these nasty things and was wondering if they are safe to take during pregnancy, Im affraid to ask my doctor also in fear of DHS. If anyone has some advice for me that would be great!!!

If you'd like some real deal info on how to safely have this baby and have it while under a doctors care go here:
http://excoboard.com/Methadone_Pregnancy_Information
Ask about all your concearns as miscarraige is a real possibility with opiates and pregnancy. This wonderful forum is dedicated to your exact concearns at this time and dont let anyone outside of this website tell you that the medication you need is going to harm your fetus/baby/toddler.ect.
NAS is a serious concearn but my wife had our little boy on 60mg.s split dose and we had out son home in a week with no serious symptoms of withdrawl. Just dont let the clinic push you up higher than 80 mg's and split the doses and you should be fine. ASK SHARON! ?She's a godsend that works with opiate addicted mothers who are with child everyday.
She is a wonderful woman who I love with all my heart and I've never met her IRL.
Just take a look see...For your baby...

I know of many women who were on methadone and had healthy babies, but not telling the doctor may jeopardize that.

Are you on methadone, or a short acting opiate - that would make a difference. I know that when the doctor knows you have a physical addiction to opiates, they will detox the baby very gently.

If you are taking opiates by prescription, there should be no problem with the DHS. There was a show on TLC or Discovery Health, "I'm pregnant and >>>". Well one show was "I'm pregnant and on Methadone". I didn't see it, but now days you can download past shows and watch them. Do a little research and see if you can somehow see how everything turned out for her. Just a thought.

Fresh.
