Default 2 years for me

I used 20 mg of vicoden at least 3 times a week for 2 years. Some weeks i would use that amount every day. I would use as much as i could but some days i could not get them. I would also use 100 -150 mg tremadol instead of vicoden. before i gave it all up I was getting tremadol pretty easily and was using it everyday, taking 200mg a day.

I know this is not as much as some hard core addicts but believe me i was hooked. I was extremely depressed. I lost my girl friend who had my son but mostly i lost myself.

Now i quit around my 20th birthday and im 22 now. I have only used vicoden about 3 times since then and not in that high dose.

Theres 2 reasons im posting this.
#1 I have struggled so hard in 2 years using pure will power to stay away from those pills. I've had bad depression. Insomnia caused from depression and even 1.7 years clean i had a bad break down were i could not sleep and was flipping out. Now i don't know if every gos through this or I'm crazy, or people just relapse before they get to that point. But That's what happen to me. Now There is Hope though otherwise i wouldn't be posting this.

#2 This is the main thing i want to get across in order to help people. After i had that breakdown i told you about I got on a treatment i knew about for a while but did not try until then. And in the past 3 months i have made more progress then Ive made in those whole 2 years. Basically I'm on supplements and vitamins. The main things i take are called amino acids and they are what your body use to make neurotransmitters which are your natural drugs. I took a test and i was severely low in GABA and Serotonin. Both are calming and anti depressant and because i was so low i could not sleep and was very depressed.

Now i don't want anyone to think im spamming because I'm dead serious i been through this and i only want to help. So i want you all to do a little research on google first. The supplements themselves aren't that expensive compared to what they do for you but the tests are like 200$. I have had a job for a little over a year and used any bit of money i had to do this because i was that desperate. The website i did my testing is called neurogistics, there are other companies and i dont want anyone to think i m spamming so just google neurotransmitters and amino acids so you can trust me first. There's a book called "the alcoholism and addiction cure" The treatment center who wrote this book has a 80% Success rate and they use this treatment. They use alot of good treatments plus this but this is something anyone can do from there home.

I know alot about this stuff i could go on but i don't want to make this any longer but if you have any questions please email me at cjswebsite@gmail.com Also if you did try this treatment please email me and tell me how it worked for you. it takes about 6 mo to a year but I'm telling you Ive seen big improvement and I'm on mo. 3.

I just wanted to add a couple things to my post. First off i went cold turkey when i quite. and also i read the other girls post and i read how she said shes clean now but will always be an addict and can relapse any time.

I want to say That is not true! If you tell your self that you will relapse. There's a spiritual knowledge which states whatever your mind thinks it will attract. Ive also known about this knowledge for 3 years and its helped me stay clean. Its also the main thing in the "alcoholism and addiction cure" Because they guy who wrote it is a spiritual teacher he only got into rehab business because his son was a heroin addict and got clean using the same practises he teaches.

He does not believe its an incurable disease and I don't either.

I've used herbals to help my withdrawals too! Rhodiola does something with your opioid peptides in your brain and i've found it lets me have energy when i want it and the lack of it when i wanted to sleep.
Fish oils helped my achy joints and muscles along with some simple NSAID pain killers (otc shit)

Taking 5-htp and melatonin helped me as well since those are the pre, and post cursers to serotonin.
Though I'm not sure if that is 100% safe. Those are some pretty serious chemicals to mess with.

Oh yeah, can't forget pot! Obviously some people can't use any drug when they are trying to kick one, because it only gets you "so" high, and sometimes results in really intense cravings. But not me, pot has helped my withdrawls more than any other remedie.

Hey,
I am weening off slowly and am down to 80mg+ of oxy's a day, which is where I've been stuck for a couple of months now... which, trust me is a lot better than I was!! The main problem is the energy level, I am used to the body aches, joint pain and I seem to be out of the general sickness part of it, at least for now!
So can either of you give me advise about any kind of supplements or herbal remedies? I am not expecting a miracle cure, anything to help me get through this would be amazing!! Amino Acid and fish oils were mentioned... anything else and what do these ones do for you?? So basically in short I feel down off and on and I experience low energy all of the time, to add to that I tend to get anxious and frustrated quite easily...
Any info would be welcomed,
Thanks!
